Villa Otium is heaven where you will find hospitality, kindness and tranquillity. Immersed in the heart of the Tuscan countryside and only a few kilometres from the splendid Etruscan city of Volterra, which has been the cradle for history and culture for the last 3000 years.
Villa Otium has been completely renovated and refurbished in typical Tuscan rustic style. The bedrooms and recreational areas introduce guests to a warm and inviting environment, away from the cold and formal structures that we are usually confronted with in modern lifestyles.
All the bedrooms have breathtaking panoramic views of the Tuscan hills and the entrance to Villa Otium one can admire the grandeur natural phenomenon of Volterra’s “Balze”.
Set in approximately 20 hectares, Villa Otium offers the ideal location to discover the true taste of nature, and to savour the aroma of the earth, junipers and olives.
Guests have the possibility to purchase our olive oil d.o.c. produced from our two olive groves and other genuine and characteristic products. The environmental conformation makes it the perfect setting to enjoy mountain biking, jogging and trekking. For all sun worshippers, the idyllic summer months are perfect for acquiring a golden tan whilst a gentle breeze caresses the skin and relaxes the mind from the stress and strain of everyday life. It is also an occasion to taste our typical Tuscan dishes accompanied by a marvellous glass of wine.
